a term for economic man with a lot of bleeding in from real world complication.
- “using tools forged from evolution that generally sought optimality for a now distant and alien environment, Homo economicish acts in ways that are generally rational but sometimes… less so.”
This blog is going to be a mishmash of various topics from an economic and evolutionary psychology perspective. I am trained in economics and consider it a good first approximation but also realize that people are not necessarily evolved for the current environment of the modern world and so reality often needs additional passes to fill in the necessary complexity to truly understand a given situation.
